Security Tab

The Security tab lets you set user ID and password requirements for new user accounts.

Fields 

User ID: Set the user ID requirements for EWS user accounts.

• Select User ID 1-50 Characters in Length to allow the EWS user to choose an ID up to 50 characters long.
• Select First letter of first name & Last name to create a default user ID based on the EWS user’s first initial and last name.

Password: Set the password requirements for EWS user accounts.

• Select Minimum 6 characters to set a password that can be six characters or greater with no stringent requirements for mixed characters or symbols.
• Select Strong Password to establish a password policy that requires more than eight characters, with a requirement for numeric characters, upper and lower case alphabetic characters, and special characters.
